About the Position:
This is a new
position for a hands-on, take charge Job Costing activities. The
Cost Accountant performs with accuracy, standard cost accounting
for the company. This position requires someone who is
analytical, who can take the financial data and clearly explain
variances to Operations staff. This position requires a team
player who is skilled in standardized cost accounting, can
explain variances, and will partner up with staff members and
management to recommend solutions to improve negative variances.
Essential Job Functions:
- Monthly analysis and
reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Maintenance of fixed assets
- Compilation of financial
information as required by the controller in the preparation
of monthly financial statements
Education, Experience, and Competencies
Education:
Bachelors degree in accounting
Experience:
4+ years of standard cost
accounting
Core Competencies:

Must have a keen
sense of accounting
·
Must be able to
explain the financial data in user friendly terms to those who
are not accountants by trade
·
Must be able to
analyze general ledger accounts and research source of postings
to accounts from ERP transactions.
·
Must be
comfortable working independently in fast-paced, high-growth
environment.
·
Experience with
manufacturing ERP system preferred.

We are a medium-sized
manufacturing company looking for the right person for our
programming department. We are seeking an individual interested
in joining a tremendous team with a dedicated desire to
manufacture quality aero structures.
Duties
include the responsibility of generating CNC Programs to be
utilized for various types of 3 and 5 axis CNC equipment.
Candidate must be experienced in programming Aerospace
components and CATIA experience a +. Candidate must rely on
extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
as well as perform a variety of tasks, and have
knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
within the CNC Programming field. Candidate shall rely on
instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the
functions of the job but a wide degree of creativity and
latitude is expected.
